A Legacy Steeped in Tradition
Mullen’s Herbal Tea House is more than a place to sip a warm cup—it’s a living homage to the wisdom, resilience, and healing traditions carried through generations of women in our family. Our story is rooted in the women of Salem, whose deep knowledge of herbs and botanicals was both treasured and, at times, feared. They were healers, midwives, and herbalists—women who listened to the whispers of the earth, gathering leaves, roots, and blossoms to craft remedies that nurtured both body and soul. In every blend we create, their spirit endures—a quiet tribute to their bond with nature and their unwavering belief in the magic of plants.

Our Story: Steeped in Generations of Herbal Wisdom
The Mullen’s Herbal Tea House is more than just a place to enjoy a warm drink—it's a living tribute to the generations of women in our family whose knowledge of herbs and healing shaped every blend we craft.
Our roots trace back to the women of Salem—midwives, herbalists, and caregivers who worked with the land to bring comfort and wellness to their communities. These women were healers, often misunderstood, but always deeply connected to the earth’s rhythms. Their work with botanicals wasn’t just medicinal; it was sacred.
Today, we honor that legacy by growing our own herbs, tending thriving bee colonies for raw golden honey, and hand-blending teas with the same reverence they once did. Each cup is a reflection of their strength, resilience, and belief in nature’s ability to soothe both body and spirit.
The Mullen’s Herbal Tea House is a space where history, tradition, and sustainability meet. We carry forward our family’s commitment to purity and care with every leaf, flower, and root we use—sourced from our gardens or from trusted growers who share our values.
Discover Tea Crafted From Tradition
Our tea house is built on the wisdom passed down through generations of women—healers, midwives, and herbalists who believed in the power of plants. Today, that tradition continues with teas handcrafted from locally grown herbs, paired with sustainable, ethically sourced ingredients.
We believe every cup should tell a story and bring calm to your day.
A Space to Slow Down
At The Mullen’s Herbal Tea House, we do more than serve tea. We create a space where people can reconnect with nature, with tradition, and with themselves. Whether you’re visiting for a tasting, joining a class, or simply browsing our teas, you’re welcome here.
